week 6

In week 6 of Network Management and Infrastructure, we read chapters 8 and 9 in the CompTIA Network+ textbook.  This week we mostly learned about what specifically a DNS is how it works as well as how to troubleshoot and diagnose problems with DNS.  DNS works by delegating to multiple servers called DNS servers the entire DNS system has to do with sending commands to other systems linked to too the DNS system to do the work for it in the most efficient manner.  We also learned about namespaces which are used to organize hard drives into a hierarchical format to be more easily utilized.
